6 Signs of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a complex mental health disorder that can affect your child’s success at school as well as their relationships. The symptoms of ADHD vary and are sometimes difficult to recognize. According to the lastest researches, three out of every five children will be ADHD before the age of 7, the chances of ADHD boys are three times higher than that of girls.. It is worth noting that this disorder can progressively diminish over time if parents timely intervene in their infancy. What are the signs to see if your child is experiencing the same condition? Let's take a look at the following six signs:

1.When you speak they can hear you but aren't able to repeat what you've said.

2. Hyper - active : A child will also find ways to speak or move hands and legs, stand up, sit down continuously whether the teacher or the parents ask the child to sit quitely.

 3. Trouble in waiting for their turn: Kids with ADHD may have trouble waiting their turn during classroom activities or when playing games with other children.

4.Hyper-talkative: a child has a very high need for talking, he can talk constantly and ask a lot of questions.

5. Unfinished tasks: A child with ADHD may have problem in finishing them even he may interest in lots of different things. For example, he starts homework, plays toy but he will move on to the things that are exciting. 

6. Avoidance of tasks needing extended mental effort: They will avoid activities that require a sustained mental effort, such as paying attention in class or doing homework.

If these signs are presenting for a long period of time (over 6 months), it is best to get your child to a doctor or therapist who can help with early intervention. It’s also better for your child to attend special schools to teach the children and improve their situation.
