STEPS Special School embodies its goal of promoting holistic lifelong learning through hands-on experience. Field trips, among many others, are vital in achieving that. It helps students acquire increased knowledge, develop social and interpersonal skills, and bridge classroom learning and practical experiences.

Our students had the most wonderful visual and practical experience in making pizza during our Pizza 4 Ps field trip. They all sat down and listened attentively as the chef demonstrated in detail every step of making the pizza. After the demonstration, each student got their chance to apply what they have just watched and listened to - from rolling out the dough, spreading the pizza sauce to placing the toppings on. Then, they took turns in taking their personally made pizzas to the pizza chef to be cooked. They patiently waited for fifteen minutes before they could have a taste of that delectable pizza, the fruitage of a little hand's touch.
